These pretty little juvenile mouse tails have all been double stained, but processed in slightly different ways to achieve some different colour effects.

I’ve taken a couple of shots to show how they look both with light passing through the back and laying down. They’re super vibrant and I’m pretty stoked with them.

From left to right (2 pics at a time) the colours are blue, violet, ombre, and pastel. While they’ve all been stained using the same colours, the effects are quite different. The ombre variant is an accidental throwback to my old hairdressing days, and the colour shifts from deep violet to a light blue. This effect is somewhat present in some of the ‘violet’ colour options, but far more pronounced in the ombre pairs.

For anyone interested, the tails came from ex lab mice which would have otherwise wound up in landfill had I not been able to claim them.

These little cuties are available as a pair, with the choice of colour variant. They are 5cm (2 inches) long and weigh approximately 3g each, so they’re quite light for their size!

The earring hooks are 316L surgical stainless steel, but can be switched out for sterling silver hooks if desired - just add the sterling silver hooks to your order and I’ll switch them over!
