Diaphonised juvenile axolotl specimen in a glass and stainless steel pendant on 50cm round snake chain.
Pendant is 60mm long and 12mm in diameter.

These gorgeous little juvenile axolotl were collected and donated to me as natural deaths from a breeder.

As they were very young and still developing, the bones that make up the fingers and toes are fairly faint in colour - but can be seen in most of the specimens. In this stage of their lives they are actually canabalistic, and so some of the specimens are missing digits on various limbs.
