Diaphonised fish in approx 35mm long glass tube-styled earrings. These little guys are showing much more of the blue colour than the violet, but have all been dual stained. The colour is quite pastel in effect - the blue was slightly overstained and as such can be seen in the muscular tissue, and the bone was stained very lightly with the violet colour. I quite like overstaining small specimens like these for earrings, as it does make them that little bit easier to see without carefully holding it up to the light or against a white background.

As these little fish were natural deaths from an aquarium, some have had some minor fin damage post mortem.
