Cleared and stained juvi mouse skulls. These little guys were post-dissection specimens obtained from various schools and universities. The bodies were too damaged for full diaphonisation, and the animals were a little too young to be able to work with the bones.
I decided to try to clear these skulls with the skin on, as skin tends to be the trickiest tissue to clear and I wanted to experiment with a few different techniques to get it transparent. I think the little ears look super cute!
