These beautiful little H. Barbouri seahorse have been perfectly cleared and stained, and just look stunning. I don’t often get this specie of seahorse, as they are bred here less commonly. These specimen are juveniles, and are around 4-5cm tall. As they get older, the little spikes around their exoskeleton get a little bit more pronounced.

I prepared these in a couple of colour options - peach and violet - which can be seen in the first two images. The close up image (3rd position) is of one of the lighter violet ones, and you can see that there is some peachy tone in it. This is typical of the violet-listed specimens, as they were all treated in the same colour batch but some took to the peach tone more so than the others.

These seahorse, like all the seahorse I am lucky enough to work with, came through a licensed captive breeding facility that breed seahorse for the pet trade industry. All seahorse species are CITES II protected, and as such their international trade is highly regulated. For this reason, I am unable to send these outside of Australia. All international orders will be cancelled and refunded.
