I’m absolutely stoked with how these yabby came out!! I’ve had so many difficulties with them over the years, and I think this is the first batch I’ve ever actually been happy enough with to share!

For my international audience, yabby are an Australian freshwater crustacean. They make excellent pets, but are incredibly skilled escape artists (ask my old housemates lol). They are also eaten as food by humans, and used as live foods for turtles and some large fish species.

As they are natural deaths from an aquarium, they are not ‘perfect’ and may have some missing parts (such as broken antennae, missing leg segments, swimmerets etc) - but all are almost whole, and damn close to perfection.

These beautiful specimens are in 45mm wide by 120mm tall glass display jars.
