Beautifully cleared, and blue single-stained octopus.
These little guys are incredibly challenging to photograph, and the pics really don’t do them the justice they deserve! The colour is really vibrant, and the definition of the suckers is brilliant.
These specimens were ‘failures’ from some of my early octopus colour restoration experiments, but I couldn’t let them go to waste so I figured that diaphonisation could be an option to ensure that something positive came from them!
These are available in both 65mm and 80mm diameter globes, and sit in a resin base. There is a bit of variation in intensity of colour across the batch, but most are in between the first images and the later images (from a prior batch).
