I was given this little mouse from a vet friend, and told it was pregnant. So I carefully diaphonised it whole, hoping to see a beautiful belly full of tiny little beans. Instead, after over a year and a half of delicate work, I got it beautifully clear only to find a massively swollen colon.
Regardless of the mild disappointment from what I was hoping, this specimen is beautifully cleared, and you can see a lot of minute details in the digestive tract. I think its kinda cool that even though it has been completely cleared, you can still see the twists and turns of the organs. This is likely because the material that was in the belly was unaffected by the chemical and biological clearing processes.
